The upcoming 13th Annual FIBA AML Conference on February 13-14, 2013 in Miami, will convene industry leaders from both private and public sectors to discuss and debate key insights on regulatory expectations and best practices in order to ensure that transnational banks and financial institutions have at their disposal the information necessary to operate safely in the current BSA/AML/OFAC compliance environment. The conference will focus on recent developments and topics, including, among others:

In Memoriam
Clemente Vazquez-Bello, Esq. It is with great sadness that we share with you that our esteemed colleague Dr. Clemente Vazquez-Bello has passed away the morning of April 17th. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. He was a kind luminary who greatly affected the vision and success of FIBA and we will miss him terribly. His contributions to the industry were immeasurable and his reputation was unmatched.
He will always be remembered for his superlative dedication to the BSA/AML compliance banking community and his commitment to make the FIBA Annual AML Compliance Conference a productive dialogue for bankers, law enforcement and regulators. |
